Ok, thanks for all the advice.

I am now certain that he isn't sending the money as when I was negotiating, he always got back to me within around an hour. But around 10 emails over a week and nothing.

    I have his full address.

What would you people suggest I do? Do I have enough proof for Police or would they not be able to go into his house?

If anyone lives near this address:

    Lee Folan
    70 South Crescent
    Blandford camp
    Blandford forum
    Dorset
    DT11 8AL

I'm sure I could send you some money if you managed to sort something out.

Sadly I live around 8 hours from him...

I don't think Ebay will be able to claim any money back. It's bad enough trying to claim doing the transaction on Ebay, let alone outside....

From the screenshot, can you see his bank details?

if it's any help I can almost guarantee that screen print is false.
I have a first direct account and the session opens in a window without the address bar etc..

I would try to report him to the police and to first direct...

Don't think you'll have a lot of luck with the police due to the lack of funds involved, or first direct for, lets face it, only sending you a screenshot, or esp ebay as you did the transaction attempting to avoid their fees!

Your best bet is to pray he is infact a squadie, and report it to his CO, but I have no idea how you would go about finding that out.
