Cant blame you mate. Valve are taking the pee with this Steam thingOriginally Posted by dangerous_dom
Its an overated game thats good for no more than 2 plays anyway, if were being honest. The fact that you cant sell it on is a joke.

I'm still only a few hours into HL2 (never seem to have time to finish it had it ages now) it seems a good game but nothing spectacular to be fair I suppose the fact I havn't been bothered to finish it is a testament to just how good it is....
CSS is well worth the asking price though imo, even if the steam service is a joke.
I didnt like it as well got board to easy so i sold it straight away.

might be worth actually reading the users agreement that steam keeps updating, hadn't played for a while took me 40 minutes to update steam earlier

correct. IIRC it's technically illegal to sell ANY game, or software application. When you do sell them you get around the problem as you are only selling the media - which is yours to own - not the licence.Originally Posted by YorkieBen
Personally I don't have a problem with this, as it's fair enough and something that you agree to when you buy the game.
Steam is a different issue, something that I have never supported and always hated
Im no good in CSS also, i hardly make the top half of the score board But i enjoy HL2 though.. PC games you cannot re-sell due to the CD-Key thing but with console games its not an issue
no..it's the same for console games - if you read the terms and conditions on almost any pc or console games you will find this The CD key is not the issue, it's the licence that is.Originally Posted by j.o.s.h.1408
that sucks who the f*&% do valve think they are. you can sell anything else. i mean u can sell windows xp ... isnt that just a license ?
