I guess I put the fun in fundamentalist

Fundamentalism represents a movement in opposition to Modernism, stressing the highest importance on foundational religious tradition. Science has brought on corruption of society. God is real and is watching. Scripture leaves little room for interpretation; man is God's creation. About a quarter of the population in the U.S. is classified as Fundamentalist

    Fundamentalist 88%
    Cultural Creative 56%
    Romanticist 50%
    Idealist 38%
    Postmodernist 31%
    Modernist 13%
    Existentialist 13%
    Materialist 0%

what about "i strongly feel that this is bollocks"? it's not the same as "i strongly disagree with this", as that would suggest a feeling that the statement has enough merit to warrant disagreeing with its content

    i scored as Cultural Creative.

Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.

    You scored as Romanticist.

Romanticism encourages society to look backwards to find our solutions. Your rationale is that things were much better a few hundred years ago so we should thus look back to those times and replace them in our modern society. You believe in a simple life and that the complexities of the modern world have turned it upside down.

Interesting quiz. It makes you think about your thinking. My results:

    You scored as Materialist.

Materialism stresses the essence of fundamental particles. Everything that exists is purely physical matter and there is no special force that holds life together. You believe that anything can be explained by breaking it up into its pieces. i.e. the big picture can be understood by its smaller elements.

Well I have done this a few times now, and keep coming out as a Materialist or Modernist - both are always in the high 90s or at 100

An interesting quiz - not for the result it produces, of course thats utter rubbish, you can't decide you entire world view from it as, as has been mentioned, some of the questions need diff options; plus most of those questions are open to interpretation as it is (how is 'spiritual' defined in the questions for example, purely a religious-spiritual sense or more in terms of the 'soul'?)

Some of the questions are cool though, and it helps that i'm in quite a philosophical mood atm after reading '1984' again, really makes you think (and I finally get where Kane's 'slogan' comes from in red alert )
