itunes alternative

i wasnt to sure where to put this, sorry if its in the wrong place but i got an ipod shuffle and i was wondering if theres ne good itunes alternatives as i find it rather annoyin, is it possible to sync it wmp and put the files on it like that

Try Windows Media Player, it might not work with the ipod, but I only use it to listen to music, it works nicely.

all i'm asking for as an alternative to using itunes to put my songs on my ipod shuffle, as i find it rather annoying and it seems to mess the library up when i add them. tbh i dont really see what's so difficult to understand about what i wrote ne way

Then I can order it normally... e.g. using the standard windows explorer.

You will need to install Python though... but it's a very small program.

Pardon? How dare you besmirch the ood name of winamp. in combination with mmd3 and mildrop it represents everything you could ever need in a player

except winamp is badly built ancient has a poor UI and bloated since WA3. edit i am an idiot amarok isn't availible for cygwin by the looks of things..

Not to turn this into a religous war, but mmd3 fixes the interface, and its footprint is 11meg with a 600song play list loaded.
