On a slight side topic do you sit or stand???.........when you wipe after a number 2? Serious question. This often comes up with friends and i seem to be one of the few people who answers with stand lol
Well, I can cut it in half!

I sometimes don't wash after no. 1 , always after no. 2. There, I admitted it!

I don't really understand how you can stand and wipe - surely it interferes with the cheek-spreading action that is necessary?

The real question is do you wipe away from the ball sack or towards? I'm a towards man myself.

    I've always post-toilet washed.
Wash for fun as well, since I read an article about the how cold germs can be transmitted by touching eye area with hands and how tests showed that more frequent hand washing reduced number of colds.
Even worse than that, I recently bought some of that First Defence Hand Foam when I saw it by the till in Boots.
It is quite reassuring to use, but don't use it if you have cuts! Sliced my thumb on the foil on some Philidelphia cheese this morning and you would not believe how excruciating the pain was when I rubbed my hands in hand foam!
Crikey! I sound worse than Bill Murray in "What about Bob?".

    Always.. before and after...

also, who uses the hand gel outside hospital wards when they go in? (if you have to be in a hospital for any reason)

Bizarre question. I always wash though. Can't stand seeing people who don't quite honestly.

Almost too often. Ever since I did a food hygiene course in college I seem to do it whenever I get the chance.

Me too. Get funny looks sometimes from people, especially the ones who come out of the cubicle and check hair/make up but don't bother to wash their hands.

    Public Service Post:

Blokes, if you're working on your car / bike, always wash before you go, because mineral oils are carcinogenic. I heard it's the single greatest cause of testicular cancer in blokes.

Washing afterwards is still a matter of preference (I do - usually).
