Would I be correct in guessing that you are a Temporary Contractor?
If so you are paid for what you work, you are entitled to breaks but not paid. Just as you are not entitled to paid holiday even though some agencies offer paid holiday as an incentive you are not entitled to it!
There are health and safety regulation evolved when working at in front of a monitor though.
So check your contract! I guess at the end of the day it depends on what you signed.
Unless you are allergic to butter!
