    City Link opening hours?

City link have let me down with delivering an urgent parcel, promised to deliver it yesterday, failed due to 'being under staffed'(you'd think they'd plan ahead with Christmas and all...) and again promised & assured me it would be delivered today, with no such success.

As iv already wasted my 2 of my afternoons hanging around waiting for them to deliver, i figure ill waste an evening driving down there and spreading some of my own Christmas cheer to them, hopefully picking my parcels up in the process.

Does anyone know their closing times? On their web site(useful as ever) it just says 'normal hours', without actually telling you what their normal hours are. Normally id presume it was 9-5, but I remember driving down their last time to pick up a parcel(I see a trend…) and that was much later on in the evening.

    Thanks in advance.

If Citylink are unable to deliver your order, your goods will be returned to your local Citylink depot where they will be held for 5 working days. You can collect you good from the depot up to 20:00 (please bring proof of identity and Citylink card) or contact your local depot to re-arrange suitable delivery time (Monday to Friday only).
Got that from an eBuyer order I got earlier this week.

cheers guys drove down there and got my parcel, was about 2 dozen others there though. It was stupid, they had aout 5 staff on and an entire warehouse to go through, took a good 40mins.

Were a lot more people more pissed off then me, some had come from a fair distance only to be told that their parcel 'couldnt be found'. ''How does a parent explain to their child why the present isnt under the tree?'' - that came up a few times there.

City Link left my package in the next flat. It turned out to be in my favour because I suspect they wouldn't redeliver it tomorrow (Saturday), and I didn't really want to travel half way across town by bus, walk for 20 minutes forward and back to reach their depot.. and I didn't have any trouble getting the package from my neighbour.
