This refers to the upgrade copies of Vista, it's advising to get a clean install you need to install your copy of XP then install your upgrade copy of Vista.

yeah i know but before with the upgrade versions of xp i thought you could just do a clean install of xp without the need of 98 on your pc

Well just found out that via uni (MSDN) we can get Vista Business DVD FREE

So I'm a happy bunny
