My eldest two kids use Bebo, must be a young teen girl thing?
Ah Bebo.. i don't mind Bebo so much, although it is basically a MySpace clone.
A few of my friends use Bebo. You can do as much browsing as you like without an account so that's fine - Means when people bug you about something they've added to their page, you don't have to faff with logging in to see it.

I use myspace regularly. Find it good to quickly organise things, keep up with band gig listings and find new bands. Also made a few friends off there, theres alot of emos, but generally alot of any 'group', fairly easy to meet people of the same interests.
The customisation is good, but some people do horrid things, I agree. I dont have any style atm, cant be bothard to think of a theme and code it.
Are you aware you have a picture of poo in there?
The facebook interface just works. No exploits, no fugging transparency that makes my browser lag, no irritating music, no broken HTML code Great interface, photo tagging is useful.
I don't feel the need to ram photos of my idols, photos of my moobs (as I am not female), my taste in music or a crap video I found on youtube (the list goes on) down viewers mouths!
myspace.com/blackdwarf twould be mine.

Yeah Tobeman,
I have the famous picture of Sh*t on the rocks.
In a hotel in America, my friends and I were annoyed that our beer was warm....we were opposite the Ice machine.
After about 50 trips to all 3 floors and 2 empty machines, we successfully filled the bath:
Sink and toilet with ice and beer.
Our other friend T, decided he needed a poo.
I've never heaved so much. It stank.
Oh well.
As for the myspace layout, it reminds me of homestead/geocities. Idiots kill it, adding everything they can, but you can spot them a mile off and avoid them. I think my profile is tasteful, clean and nice. An optional song that doesn't autoplay, and erm, that's it.
1) the html code on facebook is not html valid so could be classed as broken
2) you do not need add photos etc to your myspace
3) finding friends/messaging people is more complicated than on myspace
4) if you take away all the customisation apart from the photos feature you may as well use e-mail/msn to message ppl/
So I'm talking about when some idiot pastes some god awful code in from a template site and forgets a closing bracket to something everything often veers miles off to the right
You don't have to add photos etc. to facebook either
Keeping in touch on facebook, I find, is infinitely easier!
The customisation is what I really hate about it. I don't use either to the extent most people do. I get what I want from facebook, which is a convenient method of keeping in touch with people to who I don't want to give my MSN address to and to have the ability to view it when I want, not when its not down every other 5mins at peak times due a technical difficulty. I think I've seen facebook down once.
That all being said, I do wish facebook had better localisation!
I created a myspace account when it first opened, forgot about it, but I have also forgotten the password so I can't close it down. I have since stopped using the email address it is associated with also, so I don't know what to do about it.
I've signed up to facebook though, which is awesome and it's the main tool I use to keep in contact with mates as about 90% of people I know are on it (even my parents now).
im on facebook, again it seems to be very much a uni type thing.
Dont use it much, but its nice having everyone at your finger tips.
'my space' never signed up and never seen bebo
Yeah I agree. Many pages are badly designed. I do use MySpace regularly after submitting to its lure.
I REALLY HATE all the self-obsessed individuals who use it though. It ruins it. Those who post massive lits of their favourite bands in the hope that it makes them appear more intelligent. It just shows they are pretentious.

People list their favourite bands to seem more intelligient? It's pretentious to list your favourite bands? That's like saying it's wrong to list your favourite literature because it just makes you think you're intelligient as well as portraying a sense of pretentiousness.
I don't know about anyone else but this seems rather confusing to me. Perhaps it's just an arbitrary dig to try and get a pointless point across
It's just like those atheists who knock religion yet they've never read the Bible or studied the aspects of a particular religion. Makes me giggle inside
