    Re: Recommend a graphics Card

All the prices were from Scan, guess I should have mentioned that

The HD 3650 was announced back end of last week think of it as taking the place of the 2600, from the limited reviews I have seen it performs just less than the 8600 GT in most things with the obvious exceptions where it is trounced or beats it, the trouncings are probably down to driver optimisations on nVideas part.

2600XT: Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

3650: Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

Both of those perform about the same, the 3650 should be quieter though and theres a passive version for £3 more!

Spend much more than that and you may as well start looking at the 3850 256MB

HD2600XT 256Mb = £51.11 (ignore list price, when you go to checkout it'll be the amount I've shown)

As of 29 Jan '08 anyway
