    Careful which Nvidia 460 1GB you buy

    Looks like the new GTX 460SE version with cut down shaders rather than cut down bus width is now available:

    Not seen a benchie for it yet to see how it compares with the 768 MB version.

    Well the One DancesWithUnix linked to isn't
    Just called "GTX 460 Smart Edition Graphics Card" so if you don't realize that "Smart edition" actually means it's a cut down gpu, you could more than easily think that it's just some marketing name for this paticular model from Palit
    In the same way that the "GTX 460 Sonic Graphics Card" is just a factory overclocked card not a physical change.
