I'd go for the GTX560 soley because its an Nvidia and I've always had them and never once had a single issue!

So you can't rule out AMD being equally good?

Re: Nvidia GTX 560 ti vs AMD HD 6950

Value wise, the 6950 is just too much for a normal gamer, but the 560 ti, is great for its price, it matter what you can afford, and Nvidia always works best with an Intel build especially with SLI and AMD HD with AMD builds, AMD cannot handle SLI drivers very well at all so just keep this in mind...

560Ti. 6950 is good too but the Ti is better bang for buck.

I hate to say this but I've been burnt with ATI/AMD in the past. A while ago I must admit, but I've bought a lot of ATI cards in the past and driver issues and system instability caused me to move to nvidia and I never went back.

Can't really say about today's AMD cards, but since I have no issues with nvidia, I have no reason to try!

Re: Nvidia GTX 560 ti vs AMD HD 6950

I still prefer 560Ti OC version rather than 6950( lets not consider unlock 6950 to 6970), and the price is slightly cheap, but if we consider some 6950 can be unlock to 6970, it's another story...
