What would i need to connect a PS to my moniter?

    Hi guys.

I recently acquired a playstation (the big one, rather than the redesigned one...) for free. However it doesnt have any controllers, or the display cable.

I found a display cable that goes to a SCART connection on the video/tv. I was hoping that i could use the playstation on my moniter when i go to uni, as i wont have a TV.

I found this cable for playstation to work on the TV http://www.counter-act.co.uk/acatalog/Playstation.html (6th down.) However it isnt going to work with a moniter.

Does anyone have any knowledge that will help me out with this?
I also have an N64, which would be cool to connect to my computer.

    Thanks guys.
    Will.

Dont really want to get a AIW, and that Dell thingy sounds crazy...I was just looking for something cheap that would allow me to connect playstation and/or N64 to my moniter. Is there a cable about for ~£10 that would do the job?

Suppose i could get an emulator, but that is just plain naughty.....

If your ti4200 is a vivo then you'll be able to connect it to that (either composite or s-vid), or you'll need a tv-tuner, or a dedicated vga convertor box..

You won't get much change out of £70 for a good example of either of them..

That's the sort of thing you're looking at.

yes, but it'd produce a far better picture and be a lot more useful.
