no mate you dont.only if going from ATI to omega do you need to unistall the control panel.

Good idea to use drivercleaner though.
Once I had 9 diff versions of omega installed. At the time I was swapping between cards quite a bit (watercooling matenance) and each time it chose a diff driver :E
