    Which monitor to stand the test of time.

    I currently have a 19inch CRT and its great but I want to go own the TFT route and maybe even get a dual setup. I currently have a 9800pro but will be upgrading my PC sometime latter this year so the monitor will have to be compatable with future video cards.

    I am not quite sure about the connections at the back of TFT's.

    Currently I am looking at two choices.

    having 2 x Dell Ultrasharp 1905FP 19" for £500

    or one

    Dell Ultrasharp 2001FP 20" for £385

    Which should I go for?

    Surely a few people owe you a favour over the Dell BOGOF offer?
    I'm sure one of them will sell you their spare for a good price.

    As for which option, it really depends what you want to do.
    1600x1200 single screen is fine for most things.
    2 x (1280x1024) screens is better if you often run 2 big apps side by side.

    2x XFX 6600GT ; Corsair XMS3200XLPRO TWINX 1GB;
    Dell 2405FPW TFT.
