    err....

Well I am thinking of changing to a VF700 CU now as my silencer is no where near silent.

It is also undervolted to 5 Volts which means the fan is hardly spinning, when at full I think I idle at around 55 degrees.

I have my XFX 6800GT running at 410/1150 (see sig) in a nice little shuttle, and I have 50deg idle and around 60-65 full load (depending on ambient temp) with the stock cooler.

At these speeds I get 5200 on the nail in 3dMark05.........which wasn't too bad I thought.....

Have been meaning to check the thermal paste on my card, but so far just haven't got round to it....would like to fit an Arctic Cooler, but just don't have the space....

Overclocks are not guaranteed. You can do everything right and still not get any more speed. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
As for not using it if it's not stable, duh! That's why I'm not using any overclocking.
