3D Mark06 noob question

I have some video issues and I am trying to narrow down the problem. My benchmark on 3D Mark06 is 7207 and I am just wondering if it is normal during the CPU testing for the system to be acting bogged down and stressed. Like 0-3 fps. I was alarmed at first, but saw someone with similar cpu scores in their benchmark on the online ORB comparison...

So, when running the test, when it gets to the red mountain movie with the explosions, is it supposed to be running very choppy?

yep, its like that on everyones at the moment, just a few fps at best.
