X1800XT256 to 7900GTO....Worth it??????

Sorry to be slighly off topic but I was wondering how a much of a difference it made going to a 4600 from a 3200? I'm likely to get a 4400 soon and I was wondering if you felt the upgrade had been worth it?

I have just gone from a 3800+64 to a 4600+64 x2, and its a massive difference, games to with the dual core optimiser and the x2 driver both from AMD.

undecided whether to get a NV 7950 GX2, NV 7900GTX or 2 of them, or a ATI X1950XTX, baffled, i have an SLi board, so wont be able to crossfire at a later date.
I am currently 6800 256mb each x 2 SLi
