That's what I have too.
This hot girl came over to myspace last night, she twittered my yahoo till I
googled all over her facebook. Ask Jeeves...
System 1: Intel i5-2500k OC STABLE @5.05ghz with a ThermaTake Frio (air power!), 8Gb 1600 (9-9-9-24) R3 Patriot G2 RAM, nVidia GTX980TI ;
System 2: HP N40L Microserver;
System 3: MSI 'Ghost Pro' laptop - 16Gb DDR4 RAM, nVidia 970M, i7-6700, 256GB PCIe SSD + 1TB HDD
System 4: Samsung TAB S 10.1
2 and a half months to wait for the more affordable X2900 XT? I don't think I'm patient enough
I know that this is going to hurt, but I'm going ro go for the 2900XTX, and the best of 500 quid. Ouch.

Guess it's a 8800GTX, or a a 8900GTX.
That's slack, giving even more advantage to nvidea.
Similar to the x-box 360 and ps3.
There must be a pretty big problem...otherwise why would ATI/AMD sacrifice good profit time?
Although this is a little gutting since it will probably push price drops back further, if there are problems or issues I would rather them sort it out and release a better product and wait for that better product, rather than buy a product that comes out sooner which isn't quite right. At the end of the day I would rather spend the money on somthing thats right and works better than it would have done, than pay for something that was rushed out in a half arsed way.

I think nVidia are doing pretty well on pricing atm....£200 for a near-top end card is pretty nice
Think I'll go NVidia this time and upgrade in a couple of years to the R600 which should be out about then

is this real?
Yes, though that looks like the system builder only one. The retail card will be smaller I think.
