Hi, not posted in a while. Got a bit of a problem.
Recently (<2weeks) my PC has started restarting randomly, then immeadiately starting up again. I tried the usuals "untick the "restart automatically" box in system properties. No change. So i got a bit fed up and booted into vista (dual boot machine) and Vista seemed fine. Until that has started doing it as well now. Scanned for spyware and viruses. Nothing.
Ran Memtest 4 times - no errors.
My specs are:
Pentium D 805 (stock speeds)
Gigabyte 965p-S3
1GB Corsair DDR2 533
Thermaltake Butterfly PSU 480W
2 x 160GB HDD's
Galaxy 7600GT
I was bored with trying to fix it so i decided to re-build my PC, on completion of this my temps were stupidly high (90C - 100C) so i reapplied thermal paste now its about (30-40 Under load ). Annoyingly this didnt fix the problem, it created another one. Now my onboard network port isnt working, so i have no internet. Except from my laptop. Dont suppose anyone has any ideas?
Thanks
Matt
