    Release of ATI/AMD Radeon X2300?

When are these cards being released officially? I have seen all sorts of dates posted on the Internet but it then turns out that the cards have been delayed. Any info appreciated. Regards, RM.

The nVidia 8900 series will be faster and most probably cheaper.
ATi really missed the boat this year and nVidia have stolen a massive march on them that, for this year at least, i think will be impossible to retrieve.

Also, the ATi by all accounts will be loud and very hot.

    Bit o both really.
Stands to reason if you think about it.

The 8800's are the fastest about atm.
ATi bring out their new Flagship cards.
nVidia bring their newest out aswell very soon.

I seriously doubt, from what i have been reading that NVidia will bring out the 8900's knowing they will be slower than the ATi cards.

Basically, i think ATi were too busy fannying about with AMD and took their eye off the ball for a bit and its going to cost them dear.

(BTW...This is my first Nvidia card for almost 5 years...I still love my 9800XT...i just didnt have the heart to sell it 3 years ago)
