Help with Gaming PC spec please.

Im looking into buying a new PC and my budget is about £800.
The PC will be just for gaming so are there any companies that you guys can think of where i will get the cheapest performance gaming machine for my money?
Bare in mind, i am no good at building my own PC!

I have found one company and the spec i have configured is:

    CPU: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6850 (3.00Ghz, 4MB Cache, 1333Mhz FSB)
    CPU Cooler: NEW! Coolermaster Eclipse
Motherboard: Asus P5N-E SLI (nForce 650i chipset, SLI, Firewire)
    Memory: 4.0GB Corsair DDR2 800mhz XMS2 (4x 1GB)
    Hard Drive: 500GB S-ATA2 3.0Gb/s
    Optical Drive: 20x DVD±RW DL S-ATA Lightscribe
Graphics card: NEW! NVidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB
    Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio
    Operating System: None
    PSU: 700W Thermaltake Toughpower
    Case: Thermaltake Armor

Any help on wether or not this is the best value for money would be appreciated please.
I didnt think i would need a sound card tbh as ive been told the onboard sound will be ample considering i use my head set for gaming anyways!
I also wasnt sure on the CPU cooler, they have the one i have chosen or the Thermaltake Golden Orb II.
Also could i get away with the standard 600W PSU or should i stick with the 700W? Will the performance be better with the 700W? Its £45 etc you see!

Many thanks anyway guys/girls and i look forward to hearing your replys!

    Simon

Both PC's are fairly good but your original spec is better for £800 I think. Could you get them to put a Q6600 in the PC (same price as the E6850).

If you aren't planning of overclockinghttp://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?b=&c=uk&cs=ukdhs1&kc=D4XXPS01&l=en&oc=D01X403&rbc=D01X403&s=dhs&~ck=expbuy3
this is very good for the money.
