and it randomly turns off even before booting Windows. Sometimes it turns off when i'm at the bios, sometimes when it's booting and sometimes at windows. I'm thinking it's a mother or PSU problem, waht are your suggestions. Also the CPU temp at the bios is 100°C but i touch the heatsink and it's only warm, one of my case's sensors says it's only 35°C. I've tried changing to the last bios at the asus webpage and it's still happening. Thanks

Check that the CPU heatsink is installed correctly.

Re: new build randomly turns off

If ur bios says its 100%..stop trying to turn it on, take hs off. Clean old thermal paste off and start again. If ur using stock cooler did u need to remove any film voeer the thermal pad? I never used a stock cooler before and never paid any attention to the ones that came with my CPUs so assuming here that theres a film covering the exposed side to keep it clean.
