    RAM problem

So I've built a system around the summer time and it's great. 1 problem though, I had 2 sticks of 2GB RAM, but 1 of them was fault. So I got a replacement, and this time both sticks of RAM worked on their own, but not together. Tried them in every single slot and every single combination together. The mem test would just fail as soon as it passed the first DIMM.

I just left it, for some reason, and ended up totally forgetting about it.

What do you think could be the problem? I've got 64bit Vista Home Premium btw.

tl;dr 2 sticks of RAM on 64bit Vista won't work together but on their own it's fine.

    Thanks Hexus.

Oh the RAM is OCZ DDR2, two sticks of 2GB each.

    Re: RAM problem

Have you manually set the voltages for your ram as per the manufacturers recommendation.
