CODMW2 Host hacked my level-help!

As per title really! me and 2 other mates connect to a host, once into the server we noticed we could run like hell and jump god knows how high, either way we soon left, probelm is we are all now level 70!

This is not good as i'm now worried about the VAC system banning my account, plus it has ruined the fun of leveling up and earning my new weapons.

I've already created a tick, but what to do now? will steam be able to knock me back down or will i get VAC banned...

if you have been honest about it im sure it will be resolved... no promises on how quickly though. Valve are not known for their rapid customer service.

Not on the steam forum no, just raised a ticket with steam, i cant seem to find anyone who has wanted to revert back like me lol only people who are looking for the modded server

I think I read about someone else on Hexus having the same issue ages ago. Might be worth a search on the MW2 thread /wargames subforum to see if you can find what happened in their case.

Unless you have a profile backup you're SOL.
