    Using TV as PC Monitor.

I have a Full HD Logik L24DIGB11 TV.

I want to use it as my PC monitor, however when I connect it via VGA my computer only detects a res of 1600X1200. For some reason it isn't showing up a res of 1920X1080.

I have a 4850 GFX Card with the latest drivers installed.

If I plug the monitor in via HDMI (Using a HDMI to DVI converter) my PC will detect a full resolution however the text is fuzzy and the picture isn't very clear.

Could anyone please help me find out how I can connect via VGA and get a res of 1920X1080.

    Cheers

Some monitors/tv's will only allow full resolution through HDMI and not VGA/DVI or whatever else it has.

    The manual should explain that.

DVI and HDMI are essential the same digital standard while VGA is analogue, so a lot will depend on the capabilities of you display. There is some background here
