    That's a good point made a mistake there

    Don't choose 'ACPI Uniprocessor PC' choose 'ACPI Multiprocessor PC'. The reason why I say to him reinstall Butuz, is thats the only way you can remove a 'standard PC' HAL and get back your ACPI/APIC functions. Of course if you don't use these, do what Butuz suggested and use the "Update Driver" method.
