    Try 3D mark 03 or 05 and post your scores. 3D mark 2001SE is is mainly a system benchmarker , and you have the same system as before but a with a different graphics cards. Your new card will come into its own when playing a Direct X9 game eg Doom 3 or when you enable AA or AF.

    Did you clean out the old drivers before slapping the latest ones on? Going from one card to another cna cause issues.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    i removed old driver yes.
    but u say cleaned out is there a more thoro way of doing it apart from add remove progs ??

    i ve got alot higher marks on 3dmarks 03, but the game i play at rtcw ( i know old etc) i need to get 333 fps (a magical number that allows u to move faster an smoother) and this card if anything has made my fps slightly worse i was getting 200 - 250 fx5950 but not its average 10 fps lower

    i imagine a 64 upgrade will have to b next :c

    did you completely remove every last remnance of the old drivers with driver cleaner from www.driverheaven.net/cleaner hmm??

    make sure anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering are off and make sure that the image quality is not set to quality / ultra.

    people i talk don't get that much higher 3d marks than you so i suggest you don't sweat it.

    also 3d mark doesn't really mean anything because nvidia cards are better (out of the box) at doom3 and ati cards are better than nvida cards (also out the box) at halflife2.

    if all else fails tho...backup all your goodies and format and reinstall windows.
