    Trouble going above 240fsb

hey guys, its basically as per title really, as (see sig) i have some ddr 4400 that i wanted to run at 275 fsb but, on air i didnt expect my cpu to be happy with it and it was very unstable even with voltage up so i dropped the multi and found the same problem
i ram memtest with the ram @275 stock timings and it errored after 7 or 8 tests would that definatly mean ram or would an unstable system on the whole do that, just seems strange to me that everything is fine upto 240fsb, i then go upto say, 245fsb and the system is unstable

any help would be great thanx guys

If Memtest comes up with errors, it could be the motherboard or CPU that's at fault as well as the memory. If the memory should be able to run at the speed, and you've reduced the multiplier, I think the motherboard would be the problem.

Are you sure the RAM is running at the voltage it is supposed to be?

im not entirely sure wat the correct voltage on the memory should be but theres 3 settings and when running it at 275 i increased it to 2.8 which was the highest as i thought maybe voltage was an issue also

Looking at the specs for this Ram and a test review your going to need your timings set to 2.5-3-3-10 2.75V 1T to hit DDR533 or 9x267 or 2.5-3-4-10 2.8V 1T to hit DDR610 which is 8x305, have a read here for bit more in depth http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2312&p=5
