using Partition magic

hi all

i have Powerquest Partition magic 8.... and wondering how i use it to split my hdd into 2 partitions....

number 1 for all my stuff and number 2 partition for XP.... anyone know any good links or have they done it themselves

Be veeery careful with Partition Magic, back up all your stuff! There should be a wizard for splitting your drive, just follow that. The thing you need to remember about PM though is if you try to do too much at once, it will kill your computer. Only ever do one action at a time.

I have done as many as 8 actions in succession and never lost a thing. It is a great program. Best idea for you would probably be to follow the wizard; it has all you need!
