I would have thought so... surely that's the point of waiting for it to clear?
(not taking responsibility though!)

...Slow down mate! There are so many scams coming out of ebay & Paypal of late if you get paid by some other means that you are not used to (as i have) and when a overseas buyer starts trying to get you to accept other payment methods that was'nt on your auction i think i have a right to be suspicious! ...Also read this about echeques!

The web address in your post appears as a load of stars for some reason?
Problem is not nationality of e-bayer, there are non-payers both sides of The Pond. E-bay is a US company remember. Unless you specified PayPal only, there is nothing wrong, surely, with an International Money Order, payment is payment. If you did not specify PayPal only, then the issue becomes you refusing to accept a legitimate form of payment. This is something better sorted out through e-bay disputes. Good luck with it.
Jesus, you've been doing some serious back dated reading, this thread is 19 months old!
if you go into your pay pal account it will tell you when the echeque is going to be cleared..
i have had **** loads of them and i have never had any problem with any they dont bounce..
normally they need 7 days to clear... i had most of mine from the USA...
i hope this helps........:-)
evilb...
If wannabgeek hasn't sorted it by now, then they have serious issues to look into
I would put everything on hold till the cheque clears . Also I would double check with your Bank and get written confirmation from them . Heard of a case this week where the cheque was paid in and cleared after 7 day period then the bank came back after that and said that the cheque had 'bounced' --strange state of affairs, very disturbing!!.
People just dont listen at all. Merdat : this thread is 2 years old.
opps- never noticed the date -sorry'
