OK, my 6800GT died on me recently. I've tested it in 2 machines (which were running fine before and after the 6800GT was installed) and it hasn't worked on either, so it must be the graphics card.

I've tried to do an RMA from the XFX site yet I can't seem to navigate to anywhere to do it.

I don't really fancy calling up and paying you 60p/minute for a problem that isn't my fault, so how do I go around getting my card RMA'd?

It was bought last September and hasn't had any modifications.

    Thank you.

Yeah, went through the whole regisration thing and it said the RMA site was down, tried it again and it forwarded me to somewhere you can ask a question or read FAQ's, but mentioned nothing about RMA process.

As I said, I have registered, but the instead of going through an RMA process it chucks me over to http://www.xfxsupport.com where it asks me to register again. There is nothing on that site about RMA.

Well, I submitted the same question regarding how to do an RMA on their Support page, hopefully that will get a quicker response.

Just to confirm, I received a call this afternoon giving me an RMA number and the address to send it to. Very pleased with the quick response tbh.

Just as a quick question, is it the standard in the industry that faulty goods are returned to the manufacturer at the expense of the customer? I only ask coz it's a £250-300 piece of equipment which (I presume) has failed through no fault of my own, i.e. one minute it was working, the next it wasn't after a nights sleep.

Another reason I ask is coz my monitor had a fault and NEC-Mitsubishi sent a courier to collect my monitor and replace it the next day. However, I suppose they are a much bigger company so can afford to do that, plus the reason why it became faulty was known to them, and they new they could fix my old monitor and use that as a factory refurb at a later date.

    Not moaning, just asking.

Thanks again for sorting that out Keith!

    Keith,
    would you help me.
I have a problem with my netcell 3port XFX raid Card, and fear I may have lost 300gb.
Basically, a reboot of the machine seems to have made the raid card "lose" the raid config.
The disks should be fine, but raid sw only gives me uncofigured disks and only the option of creating array.
    I am on v 1.7x sw.

    thanks
    ekso
