So you think your core ins't working as you can't get it past a 244fsb. I am sure the chip is rated at 200fsb anything else is a bonus You could try getting some Corsair 2-2-2-6 like I have and you might find it helps but its a lot of expense to go through for an overclock.

You will need to set a memory divider with generic ram so that it doesnt limit the overclock. Set the PCI to 33.3, the DDR to 333 or 266, the HTT to 3, then go into windows and increase the 'fsb' until you cant run prime 95 without errors. That should be close to your max 'stock' overclock, before starting to mess with timings , voltages,...

Make sure your cooling is very good, 50 degrees or less ideally, or it will limit you (dont know why!).

Yep, that would be my advice. Then you can see if the RAM is at its limit, or the CPU.

When i had my DFI SLI-DR the board didnt like the RAM, over 210HTT/FSB crapped out so i had to use memory dividers. Now on the A8N the RAM is fine so i can run 245HTT/FSB fine with loose timings.

Not 100% with AMD64 tech, you can tell I've been brought up around Intel
