Missing hard disk partitions?

Hi guys, got a bit of a problem with a mates pc. Basically he has a 300 GB SATA HDD partitioned into 3 x 100GB. Yesterday he installed a new motherboard, processor and graphics card, formatted the windows drive (one of the 3 partitions) and reinstalled windows. Now the pc hasnt detected the other 2 partitions, only the windows one. After typing in diskpart on the recovery console it just says he has the 100 GB windows drive and the usual 8MB of unpartitioned space. The rest has just vanished, as if he only has a 100GB drive. Any ideas?

Sorry if i havent given enough information but i didn't know what else you would need. If you need anything else just ask.

Control panel -> admin tools -> computer management -> disk management

Can you see thew other 2 there ?
If so, are they initalized ?

right, did that, the space was there, but no longer partitiond, was all unformatted space, (strange how the diskpart never picked it up) ah well, hes re-partioned it and is formatting as i post this. thanks a lot agent
