    Need Advice / Suggestions regarding RMA Problem

    Hi there all, i hope i am posting this in the right section.

    I have a problem with Repairtech dealing with my rma ( Hitachi Monitor ). It has been nearly 2 months now since they collected the faulty monitor. ( 2 days old ). Now everytime i phone them they keep telling me they are waiting for the parts ( faulty power supply ) and it will be ready in 2/3 days. Same story everytime i call them. It has already been 7 weeks and i am running out of patience , is this normal in RMA world? Any advice will be great. Thank you.

    No, thats not normal.
    Send them a recorded letter stating you either want a working monitor back, or you want a refund within 7 days.
    Infact, if the monitor went faulty within 2 days, id want a brand new screen, not a repair.

    After sending the letter, if you dont get anything, pop down to your local trading stanadards.

    The first question may be of some use
    Id just reject the goods now and get your money back and buy from somwhere else. Whats to say its not going to go faulty again ?
    I certainly would never accept a repaired monitor after only 2 days of use !
