The 7770 would be perfect for me seeing as after many years of good service my old 5870 has finally given up the ghost . With saving for a wedding and a house to keep the other half happy Ive no cash to replace the card so im missing out on plenty of good quality pc gaming .

All the players with old 4850's and 8800GTX's and similar..... these new cards will out gun, use less power and keep you happy.

I'D EVEN SUGGEST THE NVIDIA FAN BOYS try the slice of the other side of the cake.......

TBH,the HD7750 is better than the GT640 for most things, anyway!! The HD7770 is better than the GTX550TI too.

Many HTPCs (like mine) are in enclosed spaces in media racks, with limited airflow. These mid range cards provide an ideal balance between video enhancement and all out gaming performance without massive power/heat/noise issues. Ideal for PC gaming on your TV, and for me, an ideal upgrade from an entry level nvidia board currently in use in the living room.

I would love to win one of these cards since i need to build my little brothers first computer, and i dont want to spend all of my money on it.

With that said i think these cards have a great balance between performance, noise and power consumption.

    Really hope to win one

7770 Vapor X would be great option to change my old Hd4850 I need a card that i will not have to bake in the oven, because the artifacts appeared (anyway it's a quite good option to cheap repair)
So to sum up I need a powerfull, stabile and cool graphic card!

My Linux HTPC is using onboard Geforce 8300 graphics. With Steam coming to Linux soon I have the distinct feeling my HTPC is going to be needing some more graphical grunt! Only I don't want the grunt part, I want delicious silence. The 7750 is passively cooled you say?

I've got a 9800gt laying around somewhere that could go in my HTPC but it's getting on a bit now. It would be interesting to see how it holds up against newer mid range cards in terms of performance and power consumption...

I'm a ninja, and I need an extra quiet graphics card so I can sneak around and catch all the ninja's with noisy graphics cards more stealthy.

I i've only found this forum recently and i think it fantastic. The threads i've read have really helped me looking forward to been an active part of the community in the future. And I would love the 7770 because I need an upgrade from my new graphics card to improve my gaming quality and to upgrade my pc because I don't have the money to buy new parts. Also why I think i'd benefit from a new graphics cards because I do lot of 3d rendering and video editing and this new graphics card will help me out a lot for the future and my job

I dont really know how I could convince that I should get a free card. I suppose I would feel awfully bad making up a sob story though I do have a few extremely bad luck stories with boards and cpus and video cards blowing up back to back and thinking it was the electric company working outside my house. I never figures it out and some of the items were replaced by RMA. It was just bad bad luck. So, if you want to hook a brotha up I wont turn a card down! LOL!

Re: Features - Win one of four mid-range Sapphire Radeon HD graphics cards

I'd like to upgrade my (just turned) 70 year old gaming dad's video card (he's got my old Radeon HD4800) without spending his pension on the hardware or the juice to power it.

Also it's a great investment, think of the scrap value of the heatsink in a few years time

once you've won this card guys.... you can wax lyrical about packaging.... installation... benchmarks and/or games......coolers, noise (or lack of it).. even energy draw

just like we do.... only prolly better

I guess I have 28 days to post 19 more times then!

But give it to Terbinator, he's got all those posts and deserves to win something.

But as for me, I would want a lovely passively cooled graphics card because I have a baby and thus need my system to be quiet.

would love either of these cards, the passive card for my better half machine which tends to get used as a media server alot, aand the 7770 would be a upgrade for my own pc which has a 460gtx atm but tends to overheat and crash mid game session and is due for replacement very soon before i throw it out the window in frustration lol
