The interviews with the team members have been pretty encouraging tbh.

Believe it when I see it TBH. It could end up like another STALKER in my eyes. Looked forward to that game so much and after release I purchased a few days later and played for about an hour. Now it is just sitting on my shelf gathering dust, most likely never to be used again!
Hopefully they will get their act together and get this sorted for a release this year, secondly I REALLY hope it is as good as the origional Duke 3D. Could do with a decent mindless blast in the mold of Painkiller.
looking back, 3D still rocks! the first level in the cinema ruled, the pistol was bad ass and the Ripper (3 barrell) just owned . . . . . . . just update Duke 3D

This was the first game me and Zak33 played over a serial port connection before buying network cards and a twisted pair cable.
Hope they've updated the LAN stack now!
