I asked him but all he said was that "it's time kick ass and chew bubblegum" and that "he was all out of gum"... I dunno?

You should have heard what he said when the lavvy was engaged!

sounds familiar - mine just sat there in his old rocking chair, replying to every sentence saying "Those alien b@stards are gonna pay for shootin up my riiiiide!"
or just randomly spouting "BALLS OF STEEL!!" i just hope to one day appreciate it like he did, God rest him

I'll put my bet down on it coming out this year.

The interviews with the team members have been pretty encouraging tbh.

Re: Duke Nukem Forever this year! Not that old chestnut

Believe it when I see it TBH. It could end up like another STALKER in my eyes. Looked forward to that game so much and after release I purchased a few days later and played for about an hour. Now it is just sitting on my shelf gathering dust, most likely never to be used again!

Hopefully they will get their act together and get this sorted for a release this year, secondly I REALLY hope it is as good as the origional Duke 3D. Could do with a decent mindless blast in the mold of Painkiller.

This was the first game me and Zak33 played over a serial port connection before buying network cards and a twisted pair cable.

Hope they've updated the LAN stack now!

I really hope the game can live up the hype now.

The game has been in development for longer than daikatana and look what happened to that
