I love Call of Duty 4 and its not like that, but then again does it need to be? I think I will get used to the controls and really enjoy it.

The graphics on first impression seem very good.

I couldnt make that judgement based on just the 10-15 min demo to be honest Josh.

I thought Halo 3 was dreadful personally, and I didn't really get into COD4. I enjoyed the single player but never felt inclined to play it again a second time. I am a fan of fps games however, having clocked many hours on Bioshock and The Orange Box this generation, amongst others.

My first impressions, based upon a quick play of these early levels, is that its a highly polished game. It is a real audio visual treat and a showcase for what can be achieved on the PS3, and on consoles in general. This is most likely the game that will become the first port of call for demonstrating system prowess to the uninitiated.

Crucially, the gameplay is great. There is nothing revolutionary here but it does feel like a good solid fps and it is a lot of fun to play. I can definately see myself playing through the single player campaign at least a few times and I think that the multiplayer will bring longevity to the table.

The thing is Josh you make it sound like you were expecting the game to come with keyboard and mouse support on a console? you didn't really did you?

Im the same in that im a keyboard and mouse fps'er only normally, but this is the first fps on any console that has made me actually "want" to get to grips with using a controller.

In regard to the game, initial impressions - stunning.

Really is an amazing Audio and visual feast when it starts up for the first time, graphics/sounds have such an impact in it, if you have a good visual/audio set up ready for this you really are in for something special and will get the most out of this. Didnt get much time to play it last night but this weekend i know what ill be doing

blown away by the demo - graphics and sound surpass anything i have seen/heard on any console.
a bit disappointed by how short the demo was, only 10-15mins at best but very glad i have preordered this
this will be my latest showcase game for showing off my hd projector + surround sound

Same here, I'm a little bored of the Cod games now and could do with a change.

Having been on the beta and really enjoyed it, I don't think it will disappoint.
