Hmmm did he get to see a different film from me? Whilst very pretty I found it utterly predicable, hardly "exciting". Perhaps it was not taking bathroom breaks as the film was sooo long!
Not a fan of the film at all, I found the silly blue giants irritating, the story boring & cliched. Only good bits were the special effects & 3Dness, though the cracking headache I had all evening afterwards kind of overules them.
3D The Last Samurai in space...
It was a good film but I really dont think it lived upto the hype...
Sorry if it's old but:
I haven't seen that one!
Obviously this has nothing to do with his previous history of high blood pressure, or any other stressful experience he may have had before or after seeing the film. Presumably he had spent the previous week lying down in a darkened room listening to calming music?Mr Kuo is said to have had a history of high blood pressure ...
... Hospital doctor, Peng Chin-chih, claims Kuo's condition was likely to have been triggered by "over-excitement from watching the movie".
The film has been seen by millions of people in just a few weeks, so eventually we were bound to get one tragic death that happened to coincide with someone seeing the film - cue massively innappropriate blaming / implicating the film for the death *sigh*
And some 180km across the Taiwan Strait, Avatar 2D has become banned in China (http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/blog/arti...-in-china.html). No doubt the government thinks that the 3D version is no threat to them, as viewers would just pass away from over excitement, eliminating the risk of political unrest
[/Tongue in cheek]
