Well play have just pulled the 32gb model from the website, no price reduction just pulled.

The 16GB is still up at full price. They might be taking it down and then relisting it - possbibly. If it had sold out I'm sure it would say awaiting stock etc.

Also, the Expansys is dieing.

So I'm trying REALLY hard to justify buying a HP Pre 3 from the palm store...... but can't. Either for myself, or any of my family. It's the lack of apps, really. Kind of the same reason I don't ditch Firefox for the faster and more secure Chrome - Firefox plugins

Just got the phone call from my account manager saying that both have shipped and if I want, i can just send one back. Just need to see if both turn up.

If both turn up and you don't want one, would you consider selling it on to a fellow Hexus member?

Well, I need to find out what is going on with my current amazon situation anyway. Once it's dispatched, let me know and we'll go from there. (If we arrange it they'll only cancel it!)

Amazon's claiming stock at £249/279 respectively - which is too pricey for me. It's a shambles - surely someone has set a revised RRP?

Meanwhile, if anyone's interested, the HP employee store has just pulled the product completely, although there's some information about how to claim a refund (no details of how much etc).

Every place I've been either has no sign of them or has them at the old prices.

i've just ordered one from there, in the hope that the rumours of automatic refunds are true, and that the end price is £100 or less.

my only other alternative is a Nokia N9, and i am simply unwilling to pay £520 for a 16GB sim-free handset.

a Pre3 will work very nicely with the touchpads i ordered from amazon last night for £89 (fingers crossed they didn't oversell), but if the N9 does arrive on a cheap contract i'll just give the Pre3 to my mum along with the touchpad.
