Please tell me someone else saw the most sickly sweet thing being made (and no i'm not talking about the show itself)

Egg and Vanilla and Milk soaked bread, pan fried dunked into caster sugar, and then topped with icing sugar and blitzed strawberries.

Never ever heard of anything so sweet.

Sounds quite nice, but i wouldn't bother with the topping of icing sugar & strawberries. Just go straight for the maple syrup
