tis a grill where the fat drains away instead of the food sitting in it.
nothing more, nothing less

on a serious note. while I only use mine now and again, it is actually pretty good! if you can get one on the cheap i would recommend it just so you can say you have one.
i presume there are tree-hugging properties when compared with heating a full size grill up to do a burger or whatever as well, correct anyone?

I have one too. Awesome unit. All the fat runs into a tray. If you do get one, make sure it has removeable heating trays. Easier to clean.

They are also great for making toasted sandwhiches

So something like THIS then?

You *must* get one of the larger ones (like the one in your amazon link), the small one I have can only do 1 or two burgers at the same time! Pretty boring if you've got several guests
its worth getting trust me! i cook all sort on ours, and it does it nicely and fairly quick...
put on some decent chicky breast with a nice spice/marinade, or veggies if ur in to that...n just grill.
its more healthier then normal grilling aswell (say if ur cooking off some burgers etc) that fat drains off.
Some models have a variable heat facility, my one does.
Nice and low for burgers is nice, or you can whack it up and do steaks VERY quickly.
Ive just ordered that one from amazon
Thanks guys
