I can't see how people can enjoy drinking straight vodka. I've never seen vodka as something you drink for the taste, more as something you drink to get hammered . I've seen people at parties with a glass of straight vodka and I just stare at them thinking "just down it, then sip on a nice cold beer!"

only because taste buds are less sensitive to colder things, most vodka is pretty vile straight, even the good stuff - but like medicine we drink it anyway

Perhaps you're right, It's not a common thing I drink, but I'd sooner take (as mentioned) a straight up Vodka from the freezer than something like Sambuca, or Jager etc...

It probably did stem from necking it to get smashed, but I actually enjoy it.

Granted I'd rather have a lager.

I'll never mix a decent Vodka. It's got to be Smirnoff or suchlike if I'm forced to put something in to hide the taste.

Used to be most kinds of lager, but havent drank a drop of anything fizzy since about October last year, had a beer a week or two ago and it just tasted rank!

Usually I didn't take any drink outside, I just have some white wine at home. And I never went to bar before, a shame on me I think

I'm generally happy with pretty much any cider except Strongbow or ultra-cheap stuff. Having a job ruined me in that respect.

Generally at the pub I'll take a Bulmers, Magners, or whatever similar thing they're offering.

In terms of favorites though - I really like Kopparberg, and when I'm back home, Cornish Rattler is nice Especially the pear one.

Pear cider but nicer - (bit less gass maybe a bit sweeter) than Kopperbergs problem is finidng it places seemed to be big a last year but now nowhere seems to sell it
