I've got an electric pepper mill with light.
I've used it once for seasoning a chook... and it's quite convenient for getting the pepper into awkward places (*might convert it to a salt mill, as I'd use that more often!)

I tend to make stuff like curries chillis and the like in batches and reheat the stuff later in the nuke o matic, makes life a lot easier.

My wife bought an electric pie maker once.
Totally useless. The shape of the pies it made was such that you had enormous quantities of pastry surrounding a couple of tiny bits of pie filling.
It got used once, left in the cupboard for about 10 years then freecycled
