So my Flora is going out and my question now is, are spreadable butters the same as normal butter? I tried spreading some Lurpak on my toast this morning and it didn't go too well!
I use Lurpak spreadable and it works fine for me!! And tastes mighty good! I try not to have too much of it though, I have weetabix for breakfast now.

Lurpak spreadable sounds good to me, I'll be picking some up on my next trip to Tesco.

    in my opinion anyway
Absolutely agree. I eat pretty healthy food, but i still eat butter. There is no doubt it a bit fattening if you eat loads every day, but I think the heath benefits of artificial butter alternatives are massively over exaggerated by the multi million pound industry that makes them.

Just keep it natural and in moderation. Butter was around thousands of years before the obesity epidemic we are now facing began.

We get kerry gold butter. Very nice

The spreadable version contains nothing dodgy, not even vegetable oil.

Try warming the kife. Melting it a little lets you spread it more easily.
