hi had my pc since saturday and it seems stable, hasnt crashed or hung. i got a tempary monitor also till the 1 i ordered comes into stock. I did look inside the case very briefly, cables are all away from CPU from what i saw. Admittedly the side vent doesnt line up directly with CPU. In terms of temp under load it gets upto about 48 celcius but never goes over, thats according to the temp meter at front. As for BIOS settings and what ports the hdds are plugged into, i didnt look and i am not overly knowledgeable with bios settings so havent been into it.

memory used it OZC, link to it can be found here http://www.ocztechnology.com/product..._ready_edition

overall im happy with my pc so far, not had any problems just waiting on my widescreen monitor now, but the replacement 1 is fine for the moment.

got a minor question tho, 1 meter at front measures voltage and u can adjust it, what voltage is this measuring and adjusting?

    regards

    Andy

If I remember correctly the Volt reading on the musketeer relates to voltage on a case fan - it depends if this has been wired up - but it should adjust the speed of one of the case fans.

I too can now report that my system Received Sat 8th July 06 is still stable and performing very well, I now have my monitor too.

I think the temperature could be greatly improved by having the case side ducting lining up with the CPU although I think I will fit a a fan on the holes above the GPU's as they run very hot 60-80 deg C (I aimed a desktop fan through the vent and this greatly reduced the temperature)
Sleaving on the PSU cables would also make it much neater, safer and slightly reduce any air restrictions and dust build up.

On the whole I am very pleased with the sytem the hastle of the order has been worth it in the end.

I would now recomend Mesh to other people having had my issues sorted albiet with a little effort.

Mesh offer good systems and a good price
(customer service could be improved, customers need the hard facts and answers to questions and to have the whole story)

    One question
I'm sure I read somewhere that there should be a 'washable filter' on the front air intake
I can't see if this is fitted or where it goes? (I don't want my shinny new PC to end up as a vacuum cleaner!)

    Thanks

    Hi Pressure,

The mention of washable filter is from the case manufacturer's website.

From what I can see it refers to the black grill behind the lower wave style front.

To get access you would need to pop the whole front off using the 6 plastic plugs on the inside of the case, then remove 4 screws that hold the front lower wave cover in place, then bend the sides of the grill in order for it to come away from the front.

Washable it may be, easily accessed it's not.

    Hi Pressure
I have ordered a similar Mesh AM2 FX62 - 7950GX2 system and still waiting for the estimated delivery date to arrive.
I am glad to read that it was worth the wait . Out of curiosity who is the manufacturer of the graphics card in your machine.

Tried numerous emails - no response. They seem to be avoiding the issue. Got thru on the phone last week and was told they were expecting a delivery end of last week/beginning of this with a view to a mid/end of week delivery to customer. Don't hold your breath. Been waiting since july 4th, having placed my order june 19th. How did you blag a temporary monitor? I'm stuck with an expensive ornament and no monitor at all.

    Hi there,

We are still waiting for the stock to arrive but have been assured that we will received enough of the 2025wm's to fulfill all orders this Friday. If they arrive early enough we can then get them out the same day.
