I've given up on my IMAX adventure for now. I've been back to the cinema twice since seeing it opening weekend and I havn't been able to get a ticket lol They say the queue's are dying down.. I say they are getting worse!!
LOL... You can pre-book tickets for the IMAX in advance... but you've got to book atleast three or four days in advance to be in with a chance of getting one.
I thought TDK was a very mixed bag.
Some of it was great (the joker was excellent, typical as well now we can't have Heath Ledger for any sequels), some of it was so-so (Maggie Gyllenhaal just didn't seem right IMO) and some of it seemed bad.....whether it was the theatre I watched it in or whether its the film itself, I am not sure, but I found a lot of scenes VERY hard to follow. Too much darkness combined with too much fast movement made things almost impossible to see at times, which seriously hampered my enjoyment of the film.
It never kept me engrossed like Batman Begins did either, found myself looking at my watch a couple of times
Still, better then most superhero films I guess 6.5/10
