....aaand to drag the topic back to sanity, I just watched Ep3. I thought it was a little slow to get going, but once it picked up speed it was fantastic. Acting was noticeably better (although Lucas can't write dialogue for poo) and it gave me a chill to see the Empire forming. 8/10

I watched episode IV the day after, and it fits in remarkably well.

I watched Episode 1 last night and came to realise that it is severely underrated. It is a good old fashioned adventure, just like the original trilogy. It doesn't matter about irritating characters, it's all just good fun. Episode 2 however had no excuses for appauling acting.

Just got back from the cinema, i thought it was absolutely excellent, everything fitted into slot perfectly. I loved how the ending was perfectly matched with IV though, awesome stuff

I loved it as well. Watching episode IV is so good afterwards, as you see how much the Republic has fallen arpart. I want the first trilogy on DVD so I can watch all six

one thing that doesnt quite fit is in ep4 when obi-wan rescues luke from the sand people., he sees R2 and C3PO and doesnt recognise them at all? remarking "he cannot remember owning a droid", now i Know he didnt 'own' R2 but wouldn't he maybe remember them?? or they crossing his path? or is the millions of the little buggers all over the galaxy?
