    Wireless Router/Dongle/Setup - Various Questions

I need to purchase an ADSL Wireless Modem Router for a relative - they're still using Windows ME on their computer.

    1. Will using a wireless router with Win ME cause any problems? if it's a daft question.

    2. They will also need a USB Dongle or PCI Card - which one would be better reception wise? Was thinking of getting this Linksys PCI card - Linksys Wireless PCI Adapter Card - WMP54G - Cheap at Ebuyer! - as I thought that may have better reception?

    3. Was going to opt for a Negear or Linksys Wireless Router from ebuyer, but after having read reviews of some other cheaper routers I'm not sure? I'm considering the following now

    Billion BiPAC 5200G Wireless-G ADSL2/2+ Modem Router - Ebuyer
    Zoom X6 ADSL2+ 125Mbps Wireless-G Modem Router with QoS - Ebuyer
Buffalo Airstation Wireless Modem Router - Cheap at Ebuyer!

ISP by the way is Tiscali.

Many thanks for opinions and advice.

Thanks for the link but Blitzen doesn't want to sell looking at the last post in the thread. Plus, as it's for someone else (they'll be paying for the items), I'd rather buy new so they have warranty.

As said before Netgear DG834 variant
NETGEAR DG834G ADSL2+ Wireless Modem Router - Limited time left at this Price!! - Ebuyer

    Wireless cards:
Avoid Belkin - they are just a pure PITA to configure and support

I've got a zyxel one at home - drops occasionally, but is a squillion times better than belkin. - Zyxel Zyair G-302 V3 Wireless 54mbps 802.11g Pci Card With Removable Antenna - Ebuyer

Ah, I didn't spot the date, sorry.

Stick with the DG834 series, for the home user with nothing special in mind it's perfect (in my eyes). They're around the £40 mark new.

I agree on avoiding Belkin and would probably look for a Netgear dongle.
