Which broadband provider for short term contract

So I was all happy seeing the positive reviews of Sky and O2 broadband and thought I'll get one of them, but then I noticed both of them are minimum 12 month contracts. My girlfriend and I will only be in our new flat until June at the latest so we need a solid provider which offers short term contracts. I know plusnet have 1 month contracts but when I was last looking about a year or more ago there was a lot of negativity surrounding Plusnet. Are they any better now? Anybody else worth recommending?

    Thanks for any help.

Pretty much all of the Entanet resellers offer monthly contracts - try Aquiss or ADSL24. Also the 12 month contract only applies to the BeValue - see below (from the BeThere FAQ)

How long is the Be contract?
For our Be unlimited and Be pro products, there is no contractual period, we simply ask for 3 months notice in writing to cancel your contract without incurring any additional cancellation charges.

If you choose Be Value, your initial contract period is 1 year. After the first year, we simply ask for 1 months notice in writing to cancel your contract without incurring any additional cancellation charges.
It still means 3 months notice is needed, but as you're looking at moving around June you should be good.

Thanks I'll check them out. BeValue is unfortunately the only one I'm interested in, the others are too expensive and not what I need, shame.

I thought BeThere was expensive when I first considered them (when it was £24 pm), but in retrospect, I'm so pleased I went for them in the end, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, even at the original price. Their service and customer support are both first rate (for example, they backdated the £18 month pricing for existing customers to the date it was offered to new customers - can't see BT doing that any time soon ). The 3-month minimum contract also helps.

If you're considering it, but put off, there's the potential to earn £40 Quidco as well: http://www.quidco.com/bethere-co-uk/

    Hope that helps!
